Loved & Missed Forever & Always.

I remember when we lived on the farm and you used to come to our house

“Richard are you coming to the pub?”

“Hey hen, where’s my pie?”

“Oright Joe, how ya doing?”

You would say hi to April and she would blush. Before you had the chance i would come out with something random, like hiya mushy peas. To which you would reply, hi Miss Mush.

Me and you would have them playful arguments where we would just call eachother weird names, like Mr Mush or Mrs Mush. The one that will always stick in my mind is the one that we had on that summers day when we were standing next to the barns where the horses were kept and i called you “Mr. Mushy pes and dog puke sarnie”. We both laughed our heads off. :D Everytime you came up it was guaranteed that i would laugh.

When my dad took us to the Railway i would stand behind you and tap you on the back.

You used to let me and Joe sit in that old red van of yours and we would pretend to drive it.

I will never forget the time you asked my mum to make you a pie, it was something you always asked and something my mum always did. Me and April would help. But on one of the days you asked it had annoyed my mum so we decided to play a trick on you. We made you a wood shaving and dog food pie, now i dont know about you but us lot found it hilarious. :D

I remember that New Years Eve of 2002 when you, mum and dad went to the pub. I was in bed when my parents got home. I woke up on New Years Day to find mum and dad sat at the kitchen table with tears in their eyes. When Joe and April woke up they told us to sit down. Then they explained that you had passed away in the early hours of New Years Day. I heard mum and dad cry that night.

When the phon rang i thought it would be you and when a car drove up to the house i thought it would be you. A couple of months later i realised that you wouldn’t phone or come up to the house and that we wouldn’t see you again.

Every New Years Eve and Day i go to my room and cry, while i am writing this i am crying. :( I am not religious but some nights before i go to bed i say a prayer for you.

My friends say i am mad because i talk to myself when really i am talking to you!
