— Hello everyone, this is my blog on poetry and descriptive writing. I am 15 years of age and really enjoy writing.
English has always been my favourite subject and i have always had good marks in english exams. I first got into writing when i was doing course work in year 9 at scool. Most of the time i write about something with a meaning for example; Black and White is one of my favourite poems i have written and i think it is rather powerful. Other times i dont have reasons for writing, because i write what is in my head.
I also like writing in detail. I think if something has detail then the person reading it can imagine what it is they are reading about. I hope you enjoy reading my peoms and descriptive pieces of writing.
I love writing and would like a career in writing. There is only one of my friends who know’s i enjoy writing, Scott, has read nearly all of my poems and has said that i am really good at poetry. I have done a couple of poems about him as he has been my boyfriend before and even after that we are still great friends. The only thing is i have never told him so by having this blog i am hoping that anyone who checks it out will leave me a comment telling me how i can improve what i write and then maybe i can tell Scott which poems are for him..

I think your poems are really really good, and very powerful, I enjoyed reading them, you have obviously got a tremendous talent for writing. Your Mum and Dad will be very proud of you. I too was good at English at school and also poetry, but I didn’t do anything about it, but there never seemed to be the opportunity then. I know your Mum also has talent which she has never made the most of. So don’t be like us – GO FOR IT!!!!!
