My Mates From Tenerife!!
When I first moved to Tenerife I hated it, I had no friends, all I had was my cat to talk to…but then I met Lorraine, the most down to earth person I have ever met & I loved the fact that she treated me like an adult & she acted like a teenager haha…Her husband Simon is awesome 2..kind & caring…Then I met bro..funny and protective…& mama..loving and gentle…& all the other great people I met, who welcomed me into their lives and homes, who looked after me if I were upset and who just made my life in Tenerife an experience that will never be forgotten!! I met alot of my friends on nights out and just stayed in touch…I will go back one day & it’s great knowing that I have a life out there as well as in England……….& my mates out there are more like a second family ‘n’ i love em’ all & miss them loads x x x
Alexia
Alexia (Greek for Defender) is my puppy >>>
She was abandoned outside a villa.
She is really hyperactive and lovable. She like’s to bark at anything that moves but mainly she barks at the cat or the mop. She like’s to do a angry growl and sometimes i think she thinks that she’s a rottweiler especially with the pink collar. When she barks, they are mainly just sqeaks but very loud and very annoying. It is so funny when she tries to chase me i run up the stairs, and because her legs are so small they can only carry her so fast, i obviously get away before she reaches me but i have to give her credit for running up the steep steps and she’s only little.
She hates being left alone, even if it is only for a couple of minutes, so one of us always has to look after her otherwise she will cry, cry and cry some more. She is going to have to learn to be on her own, she doesn’t mind wondering off and leaving us on our own but when its the other way round its different. haha.
She also doesn’t like being groomed, when anyone goes near her stomach and head with the brush she starts to wriggle and bite. She loves harrassing Amber (my cat), who doesn’t take too kindly to Alexia following her, eating her food and biting her tail ( i can’t say i blame her).
The start of a winter storm.
Melonie, a tall elegant woman, pulled open the heavy oak door. All was silent, save for the whisper of the wind and the gentle twitter of birdsong.
Slowly she walked across the frosty grass and sat on a rock beside the shimmering lake.
A shade of pink started to show on her pale face as the crisp air swept past. The wind began to blow viciously bringing with it snow. Melonie glanced back at the old castle like house. She could only just see the oak door close and the figure move towards her. Melonie smiled as her husband, Niall, folded his strong arms around her shoulders and kissed her on the cheek.
Niall, like Melonie, was tall and handsome. They walked back to the house, hand in hand, as the snow was starting to settle on the path. The fall of snow was speeding up and thunder began to roll.
Once they were back in the house, Melonie looked out of the big kitchen window and realised a storm would break out at any moment……
